A website redesign is more than a new colour scheme. Done well, it makes your site faster, easier to use on a phone and better at turning visitors into customers. Done badly, it can lose the visitors you already have. Here is how to tell if you need one, and how the process works.
Signs your website needs a redesign
- It is slow or awkward on a phone. If visitors have to zoom and scroll sideways, many leave before they find what they need.
- It is hard to call, book or buy. Your main action should be visible on every page without searching.
- You can't update it. If changing opening hours or prices means calling a developer who no longer answers, the site is holding you back.
- It no longer reflects your business. New services, new prices or a new location deserve a site that shows them clearly.
- It looks outdated next to competitors. Customers compare. A dated site makes a good business look small.

Redesign or rebuild?
Sometimes a cleanup is enough: faster images, clearer buttons, updated texts. If the site is built on a platform that can't be fixed, a rebuild on the same domain is usually the better long-term choice. A good web designer will tell you honestly which one you need.
How a website redesign works
1. Review what you have
We look at your current pages, what visitors do on them and which pages already appear on Google. Those pages are kept or improved, not thrown away.
2. Plan the new structure
We map one page to each service or topic, decide the main action for each page and plan how visitors move from the homepage to calling, booking or buying.
3. Design and approve
You see the new design before anything is built and can request changes.
4. Build and move content
We build the new site on your existing domain, move and update your texts and photos, and add anything new such as a booking form or a second language.
5. Redirect old addresses
Every old page address is pointed to the matching new page. This keeps links from other websites working and protects the visibility you already have on Google.
6. Launch and check
After launch we test forms, phone links and page speed, and update your Google Business Profile link if it changed.
How much does a redesign cost?
A redesign is priced like a new website, based on the number of pages and features. Our web design in Prague packages start from 14,900 CZK one-time, and you can spread the cost over 12 months.
